The grinder and spaghetti here was very good. Stroboli was still tasty but not quite so much.

Usually I recommend this place to everyone, but lately somethings lacking, Cheese steaks are mostly bread, if you want more meat its a $10 cheese steak. Bacon used to be always crisp, now it is chewy and undercooked. Bringing my lunch from now on.

I submitted to fix some of the location details because they are incorrect. This little restaurant comes up as in "Downingtown", but it is in the heart of Eagle, PA. I've eaten pizza and hoagies from here, but by far the best items from their menu are their strombolis. Delicious. Their staff is always super friendly and fast despite the place always being real crowded every night. I've never dined in, so I can't attest to the service, but I cannot imagine it being poor.

Pizza is ok, but a little on the salty side., garlic sticks are really good and are a feeling meal alone. Never tried any other items based on the simple fact I felt the menu was a tad on the pricey side. Also, from what I have noticed the portions are not that big. The staff is very nice and the place is very clean. However, they do have a guy on the wait staff who often gets a little to close for comfort, but he is harmless.

The food is good. It's a nice place to sit down, eat and talk. The biggest issue is the service is horrible. They staff teenage kids who never get your order right, are rude and standoffish, don't know how to work a register and don't seem to really care to know the menu. Last time I was there the girl at the register was sick and she was coughing and sneezing into her hands while handling money....pretty gross if you ask me. If they fixed their customer service I'd say it's 4 stars.

On the plus side, their food is consistently good and their service, in the restaurant, is good. Opportunities for improvement: their prices are a bit high and their cheesesteaks could have more meat to be at the same standard of their other menu items. Always friendly service, which makes any meal taste a little better!

Pizza is great for people that prefer it on the thinner side. Staff is friendly. This place is SWAMPED on Friday nights but they always have the food delivered to me within the hour. Haven't had a single thing on their menu that I don't like!

The pizza is good. I was surprised because I went in thinking that it would be terrible compared to the jersey shore pizza but this place didn't disappoint me. It was very clean and they have quick service. We called in and they had the order done within 15 minutes for pick up. We'll definitely be coming back.

My main issue with this place is its very expensive for the quality of food. Very over priced I also can't tell you how many times my order has been incorrect once I get it home and unwrap it! (They don't seem to care if they give you regular fries, curly fries or cajun fries, whatever is on hand at time of order, you get). Very frustrating as you pay a premium price and should expect order to be correct. I have cut back ordering from here significantly. Have not been back since my last incorrect order.

Average food at above average prices. Bravos next door has better pizza and chesesteaks at a lesser price.

One of our favorite stops for family dinners. Restaurant is clean and well staffed. Bathrooms are updated and comfortable. Food is great! Daily specials are fantastic, especially the pork with broccoli rabe. Yummy soups in the fall and winter.

I come here for lunch EVERY DAY after work. Their food is awesome! I get sandwiches, subs, and salads. It's the BEST food of this type in an area CRAMMED with Italian restaurants. The servers are incredibly friendly and get to know you.

Being a regular customer I found myself a bit disappointed in my buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Although the flavor was great, the amount of meat was lacking. Each side of the roll was only half full so I ended up combining the two to make one full half.

I was craving good pizza so I gave Carmine's a try. It was okay. The good: uber friendly service (takeout), tons of toppings (I got a half veggie, half Tommy), very fun options for specialty pizzas, near my mom's house (probably doesn't matter to you, dear reader, but was a big factor for me). The bad: crust was meh, the Tommy side of the pie either didn't have the blue cheese as advertised or had so little neither my dad nor I could detect it, and we spent over $20 for a small specialty pizza and a small fries. I think I'll check out some other pizza places in the hood before returning.

Food is ALWAYS delivered cold and ALWAYS much later than promised. Food is okay but we only order bc it's the only place that delivers. No matter how many times we have complained to manager about cold food and really long delivery, they don't care. They make lots of excuses. So...is it convenient to have food delivered cold every time and have to reheat-not so much. Is the staff overly concerned about our repeated complaints-not at all!!! Bad all around!

This review is for their pizza ONLY. I love Carmine's! I moved away from Eagle almost three years ago and I wish all the time I could have a slice of Carmine's Pizza. No other place has compared since. Someone please ship me a pie from Carmine's!

It's an area landmark, with good food and reasonable prices. I've never had a bad meal here, but the pizzas are pretty special. The chicken cheesesteak with Jalapeno is also pretty special. Good food, good service. No complaints.

Great place to pick up lunch or dinner. Strombolis are great, as are their sandwiches and pizzas. Protein platters are a great option as well if you are watching what your eating. Also just started serving breakfast, so I can't wait to try that as the next hangover cure!!

I've lived in the area of Chester Springs, PA for almost 20 years. I have eaten hundreds of pizza slices, hoagies, wraps, etc from Carmine's. Most of my meals from Carmine's have been either take-out or delivery. No problem with the food or service. The problem lies in the prices and their business practices. My son and I just ordered two large one-topping pizzas delivered and it cost us over $40. I live within 3-5 miles of Carmine's. They charge $2 for delivery. The driver get s $1 for gas and Carmine's skims the other $1.. To put it in perspective... Carmine's delivers, on average, over 400 pizzas each day (per the owner's wife). That means that they are making almost $3K each week off of their drivers JUST ON PIZZAS. That doesn't include non-pizza orders. I paid $17 for each pizza & $2 charge for delivery tonight. That's $18 per pizza! Carmine's is the only game in town that delivers. And they know it... We need another GOOD pizza place in town that delivers to bring the prices down. On the business practice side... They are not receptive to ANY customer discounts or incentive programs (e.g. buy 10, get 1 free). They laugh it off. They have a monopoly and they are cashing in. Nice 7-Series dude.

We love this place! This is the ONLY pizza place that delivers to my parents house and we have never been dissapointed. The pizza is great! and the strombolis and sandwiches are also fantastic. You cant go wrong whether you dine in or to go/delivery. They are quick and the food is always hot. The staff is always very friendly and there have been very few times our order has gotten delivered incorrectly but no worries if it does because if you give them a call they will send out what it is you are missing/ or send the right thing out to you.

Pizza was tasteless. It was greasy and dry at the same time and extremely salty. I was very disappointed. I had eaten here once before and if the pizza had been this bad before I would have remembered it. So something has changed here. I won't be going back.

Delicious pizza and great delivery. They even brought their driver in a few minutes early on very short notice for me so pizzas could be delivered for my daughter's birthday party in time.

This use to be a reliable place for sandwiches but the last two were not good at all. Cheesesteak was light on the meat. There are so many good rolls to pick from in the Philly area but this roll was one of the worst and stale. Hopefully it was just an off night. I'll try again but not for awhile.

I stopped here on my way to the highway after singing a wedding in Honeybrook, PA - I was so happy to see civilization after driving on winding, tree-surrounded roads for 25 minutes that I couldn't help but stop for a slice! This seemed like somewhat of a mom and pop type of place - you had the choice of sitting in or taking out. I ordered a slice and grabbed a bag of chips. I decided to run to the restroom (very clean, btw) while they were heating up my slice and it was ready by the time I came out. I picked a booth and the gentleman who was working as the "server" that night brought it over to me. He was nice but got a little too close for comfort!! If you are ever in the area, try out the ricotta and tomato slice - I had to stop myself from ordering 3 more after I had finished mine! Great place to grab a quick bite!

I'm a fan! This is a nice little place with good food and friendly staff. The process for ordering was a little strange for us the first time we came, because the order process is the same if you're getting food to go or you're staying to dine in, but once you learn the process, it's all good! Last night we had the Carmine's Special pizza. A nice pie with plentiful toppings, a good sauce, and excellent crust. Also enjoyed a dinner salad that was excellent. This place is family owned and really nice people. The first time we came, one of the owners (the wife) stopped by the table and chatted with us. Asked us if we ever had their cheesy bread and then brought us some to try. Very nice folks. After the first night, we thought we'd love to come back more often. I think we said that again last night! This place is family friendly. The food is good. The kind of place that deserves your business. We've only been a couple of times, but we'll be back. Haven't been disappointed with anything we've ordered. Give them a try

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant! The place has great natural light. I have enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and found the chicken juicy and the bread fresh. The chicken wrap was good but I really enjoyed the Chicken Salad Salad. It was fresh and had a wonderful flavor. They have 12 dressings to choose from, light dressing as well. The staff is friendly and the place has a nice comfortable feel.
